About Dr Chea
Dr Chea has 26 years in practice, with advanced training in behavioural optometry (ACBO, the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists) and neuro-optometric rehabilitation (OEPF, the Optometric Extension Program Foundation). Scope of practice
A full assessment of how your child's eyes and brain work together, including Visual Information Processing and ReadAlyzer 2K eye-tracking and reading eye-movement testing.
Structured, in-office therapy for strabismus, amblyopia, and visual processing difficulties.
Myopia management including orthokeratology (OrthoK), tracked with a biometer for axial length and a corneal topographer.
Visual system rehabilitation and assessment following a brain injury.
Assessment of how visual information is processed and interpreted, beyond a standard vision check.

GPs, paediatricians, other optometrists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and teachers are typically the first to notice a visual issue that's affecting a child's reading, learning, or development, and often the ones who point a family here.
